Day 15 - We head for Florence

The sadness we felt as we left Roma soon turned to joy with the anticipation of new adventures in Florence. We had a relaxing time of just over an hour on the train with Carol Ann reading about some of the fabulous sites to see. The train sped along through the hills of Tuscany and beautiful vineyards.

Lucy was waiting to greet us at our beautiful apartment, and guess what, only 19 steps. We strolled out for a short walk and guess what again?? more bridges to paint !!!!
I love Florence.

We plan an early start in the morning, maybe with a local bus tour so we are sure not to miss that special site to behold.
