Earth Day is celebrated worldwide around the time of the Vernal Equinox. In Canada we observe the occasion on April 22nd each year. Earth Day aims to inspire awareness and appreciation of our natural environment.
It is currently observed in more than 180 countries around the world, with more than one billion people taking positive action.

"O Sole Mio"

Not an olive grove in Rome, where we might have been, but in Saugeen Reserve Park and Amphitheatre, near Southampton, Ontario.
This elevated park overlooking the Saugeen River is a wonderful setting for a family picnic or just to while away some quality time.
